Good Points

Great location on a manmade lake. Fab food, friendly staff and great kids entertainment.

General Comments

Amapola, Playa Del Muro - I visited in July 2003 with my 2 kids. Hotel was clean and of a very high standard. Less than 5mins walk from the shops and restaurants. Felt we were well looked after and it was a safe environment if you are a single parent/on your own with kids. Will definitely be going back.
Although it's a fair hike to main Alcudia you don't miss out on anything as this is just a slightly quieter area and there are still loads of shops, etc., close by. Even a Burger King for when the kids are being fussy!

    I fully agree with what is said in this review. I had my first holiday abroad here also 2003 and it has made me want more. The restaurant has a policy of allocating you a table for your stay, I wasn't sure about this at first but it works well you don't fight to find a table and you get the same waitress/waiter. Food especially deserts were superb. Facilities are very good & even free peddloes for the lake.
    Beach lovely sand & goes from Alcudia to Caan-Picafort but beware if you walk to caan-picafort there is a nudist area to pass through.
