Nice graphics, cool idea.
Horrid gameplay, frustrating, immensly difficult, you have no idea whats going on.
Metroid Prime..... this game was supposed to be great. Most magazines say it is, though! Well, to them, the 'hardcore gamers who buy every system and game the second it came out', maybe it is. But to the casual gamer who is looking for fun and a nice way to pass the time, this game is definitely not it. Yeah, the graphics are great, so what? The idea is cool.... but brought down by the horrid gameplay and frustratingly hard levels. Also, unless you've played every Metroid game out there, you'll have no idea whats going on. This was my first one. I rented it to try it out because I heard it got good ratings. But, boy, was I wrong. It stunk. So, unless you're a hardcore Metroid nut, don't bother with this one.
