General Comments

Bought my SMK S2 .177 about 2 weeks ago and I agree with danco1987 and bossy ben, I read all the reviews and decide to purchase one for £25. Orginally just for target practise but found it was quite powerful enough to penetrate tough and thick wood. I took it out with my b2 rifle and for the close range shots I decide to get it out and popped a rabbit in the head from about 15 yards. Its a great gun for the money. The only pistols I would hunt with would be the weibrauch 45, webley hurricane and this baby! Use good pointed pellets of around 9 gr -11 gr, no heavier though as this will decrease power. Use thick oil on the barrel to cause dieseling to occur and increase the power and top up with wd40 when out hunting. I dont agree with danco1987 though on the webley hustler needlepoints, theyre crap and get stuck in the barrel sometimes, just stick to the markmans like ben. Look after and keep oiled and its a great huntin tool!!!

PS I wonder if you can get a scope for it, does anyone know???
Cheers!

You can't fit a any sights as it isn't grooved. You can't hunt with this, its terrible the B2 is an amazing gun for the price.

No scope doesnt mean no hunting. Firstly, with practise and at the range of 10yards which is the limit range for hunting with this gun, you can hit the same spot consistantly. Ive also used the peep sight on my crosman 1377 for starlings and rabbits at close range also. No scope means more practise is needed and many shots that you could take if you had a scope just have to be ignored until a better opportunity arrises.
