Good Points

Quiet,
washes dishes so they come out clean,
looks fab,
uses any detergent.

Haven't found any.


General Comments

Finally got a decent dishwasher -the Bosch SHU8805 - after 2 Maytags (one was supposed to be the quietest they made!) and a GE (came with new house) that was more ornamental than functional. This is what a dishwasher is supposed to be. It washes dishes CLEAN and doesn't require the most expensive detergent. It is also so quiet you don't actually have to be leaving the house to switch it on. Love this appliance. Looks great too - no ugly control panel to spoil the look of my kitchen.

    Yes it's quiet... but you won't be when you pay to have it fixed.... if you can find a place to fix it.

    Christina from Delaware: the manufacturer is Bosch, as is posted. I found them at Sears, Menards, ABC Wharehouse, and other smaller stores also. The big chains listed above all will match prices so I chose where to buy according to the price and conditions of the optional additional 5 year extended warrantee.
