Good Points

compact size. uses popular mini-dv format. fast focus, and night shot capability.


Bad Points

original battery in packaging is low capacity, and wears out after a short while.


General Comments

This Sony DCR-TRV22 is a nice little mindv Digital Camcorder that tries to be more than it is... the carl zies lens is an excellent addition, however the low res (under 1megapix) doesnt do it any justice. the motor is also quite loud. so loud in fact that its noise is actually recorded onto the tape and transfers onto a DVD or VHS tape should you want to record to a different format.
