CONNING PEOPLE RIPPING PEOPLE OFF SKY HIGH APR
I bought a car from Car Credit UK in Warrington last month (march 2004), I travelled from North Wales with two babies. I was kept waiting around for 5 hours and then drove away in a Ford Focus after a part exchange with my Ford Escort 1.8 d, a week later I recieved a phone call saying my finance agreement had been rejected, I said sorry I don`t understand as the car was outside my house and i`d already had it a week, I was told she would call me back. I then called Car Credit in Warrington they said they didn't know who the woman was and to forget about it as my finance had gone through. 20 mins later a 6" foot 4 bloke was banging on my door shouting he wanted the keys for the car, I called Car Credit and was told to phone the police I did. The man was standing at window waving a lump hammer saying ive got 5 mins to give him the keys or he would smash my window, the police arrived but the man had documentation from car credit to take the car so they were powerless to do anything, my car I part exchanged was returned to me some 7 days later after I called day after day to be told tomorrow, tommorrow came a week later and my mileage had been changed to a lot lower than what it should have been ........ stay clear of them they are bad news.
