Serge Trifkovic & Srdja Trifkovic's 'Sword of the Propheta' is a truly revelatory read covering the roots of Islam, it's expansion from desert roots to empire and the implications to all of us. This book explodes our dangerous politically (in)correct attitudes toward Islam. The fundamentalists do not appear to be mad, just devout! To say this book is far to the right would not do justice to the meticulous research but it certainly pulls no punches. As a liberal thinker I am embarrassed at my former ignorance.
