Bad Points

We booked the holiday with Thompsons and paid a supplement for A/C, but when we arrived we found that it wasn't necessary to pay the supplement as all rooms at the hotel had A/C.


General Comments

Kololi Sunset Beach Hotel - Excellent standard of accomdation, we stayed in a Garden room which we were told was the basic room but was far more superior than some of the better rooms in some other hotels. Satelite TV, Fridge and A/C as standard. Staff were very friendly and helpful but not to the point where you feel over attended. The private section of the beach had security guards stationed on it so as to stop street vendors from nagging you when all you wanted to do was relax and sunbathe. We stayed B&B, the breakfast was a buffet style with fruits, breads, cheeses, cereal, bacon, sausage and eggs to order which proved to be more than adequate for starting the day off. We occaisionaly ate food from the snack menu which was good. We didn't use the restaurant at nite as we were always out trying other places. Overall an excellent holiday.
