Excellent online service.
Customer service not up to scratch,
Bank manager never available and doesn't return phone calls.
We moved banks to Barclays Business from Lloyds TSB when we needed to collect online payments using a Payment Service Provider (secpay.com). Barclays Merchant Services will not let us access our funds for a month after we recieve payment. We were promised a review after 12 months but none was forthcoming.
Barclays offered to waive the £20 internet service charge but we were still charged. I have left 3 messages and asked my bank manager 3 times for a refund which is still not forthcoming. I think he has more important things to do ! As trying to reclaim has probably cost more than £20 I have given up.
Good Bank let down by the manager(s) ???
