Excelent ride, comfortable for driver and passengers. Great torque, visibility and handling
Bit mean on the extra's.
I have only had the Nissan X-Trail 2.0 SE+ a week but I am mightily impressed. I have a 2.2 cdi sport 135bhp. The roads I drive are hilly and twisting and the handling and ride are great. The colleagues I travel with have commented on it's comfort including leg room and headroom back and front and two of these guys are 6'2.
The power is readily available especially overtaking in 3rd. The huge sunroof will be great in the summer months. The practicality of the cabinn is good with completely flat cargo area with the seats down, with a 60/30 split. The back seats also recline, a feature the salesman was not aware of. The central clock position is good and far easier to see than hidden behind the whell.
In the first week I checked the mileage and returned 33.5 mpg, which I hope will improve as I get used to the vehicle and it loosens up. I swapped this from a 1.8 petrol Primera and it is far nicer to drive. One problem is that the high position reduces the experience of speed and so being caught speeding is a real possibility.
The reason I have marked the reliability with 9 is because this is my familys 6th Nissan of various models and they just don't break.
I think that a few more extras like a computerized data read out controlled from the steering wheel and cruise control could of been included but all in all I am very pleaaed with this motor.
