General Comments

Heard about a local band, Nicotine Tears who apparently were amazing, went to a gig... wow. It was like metal with the musical intelligence of jazz (as weird as that may sound). Managed to swipe a copy of their CD, which was only a promo CD. Have listend to it several times.. The album keeps building up into something catchy and then suddenly dropping into something new.. Well structured songs that are all over the place and meant to be. Cool, hard when it has to be, soft when it wants to be, powerful riffs, absolutely amazing drumming, funky, strong, overall I would say an intelligent band that just needs to be recognised. Definitly not for everyone, but absolutely for the more intelligent listener.
