I am giong to perform this play tomorrow infront of a GCSE exminer and I am looking forward to it because Teechers is one of the funnyest plays I have ever performed.
Bad Points
Some of the language is dated, but easly personlised.
General Comments
I am going to perform John Godber's Teechers tomorrow in front of a GCSE examiner and I am looking forward to it because Teechers is one of the funniest plays I have ever performed. It is so versatile you can do almost anything with it. All though the writing is funny, the words merely prompt you to do hilarious physical theatre, for example the scene where the 3 main characters describe the play they did about ninjas that come into school to sort out any trouble makers, in our group we did a matrix style fight scene. The script just begs to be added upon. If you don't perform it yourself go and see it being performed.

this is a great play we performed this in performing arts in college and as we are a group of 20 but all girls we had lots of fun playing males and different characters i would recommend it!! it is a great play to do xxx

wow! i'm just about to perform teechers aswell, i'm playing gail and it is such good fun! you have to get this book, its so worth it!
