Legendary handling, super-tight steering circle, flat torque curve pulls like a bullet train in any gear, excellent build quality, ergonomics, stunning shape still turns heads to this day.
Parts ridiculously expensive, hard-to-service clutch, poor bump-thump suspension absorption.
This car is truly Porsche's best-kept secret. The superlatives are numerous: large displacement four; light, all-alloy engine; amazing aerodynamics; gravity-cheating roadholding; high performance to value quotient; excellent resale value; supercar status under $20,000. My son's first car will be my Porsche...
