Good Points

3rd and 1st person views, play it how YOU want, lots of stealth, lots of acton, rewarding experience (your first silent assasain rating will leave a smile on your face).


Bad Points

frames can get a little jittery on a budget system, especially in the later levels.
erm.... thats about it


General Comments

HITMAN 2, is a superb game, it's the next step in freeform gameplay, you play how you choose, not how the developers want you to, obviously the game is about assaination, but the beauty is, rather than the forced stealthiness it gives you the choice, go in all guns blazing, or sneak in, take out your target and sneak out. The sneaking option is extremely difficult, especially if your going for a silent assasain rating which opens up the better weapons, but it is also the most rewarding, the first time you pull off a silent assasain rating is an emensily satifying gaming moment. For those of you out there who like a good blaster, this game provides that also, thanks to the 1st person view option. The game give you limitless ways to make your hit, sneak up and strangle your target with garotte wire, or bring a sniper rifle and pick him off from a distance, or maybe plant a bomb in his car, or if you just couldn't be bothered walk up and shoot him (and everyone else) full of holes, and watch as the pleasingly morbid rag doll physics strut there stuff. I never get tired of seeing how long I can juggle a body in the air with a shotgun. Hitman really gets you into the role, it provides what all game should, an escape from reality, and it does it very well, I've had this game for over a year and I still have the odd bash at it, either for a brain free slaughter fest, or for another brain taxing attempt at getting a silent assasain rating on that level I can't seem to crack. This game has it all, and with the bargain price tag games this old have, it's a steal, buy it.
