General Comments

The Samsung X600 mobile phone has a better camera than my mates Nokia 6220, but then again the Nokia camera won't go to that resolution anyway. No video clips.

The "flash" is really just a torch - it doesn't flash but it does help with close up pics in the dark (and it has pose value lol). Not used Night Mode much (it works pretty well without it, or by using the flash), but I think that you need quite a steady hand...
You can change the "brightness" of the pic you want to capture by pressing the left/right key, which is pretty useful.

The screen is nice and clear, but could be a bit more colourful I guess.

Getting about four days from a charge.

Reception (T-mobile in the UK) is ok in towns, but soon goes off when you get out in the country.

The Polyphonic tones are pretty naff, but the speaker quality is good. It doesn't work as a handsfree. No sound clip recorder. You can't use MP3 or WAV as ringtones, but you can use midi and get short clips of sound/music as MMF files (8 bit sound, a bit scratchy)

You can't assign pics to callers, or to caller groups (there are predefined "drawings" though which you can't change). You can assign ringtones to caller groups.

The T9 predictive text is what annoys me the most...
I am used to Nokia, but with this you can't go back to a word you have earlier written and change it again. You have to delete it. But in Memo mode, you CAN change a word you wrote earlier! What's more if you just press one button in memo mode, you can press the up/down key and scroll through all of the words you have saved using that button (ie press 3 and you can scroll through the normal letters and then show you words you have saved into T9) If I could have this in SMS mode I would LOVE this phone. I sent a email to Samsung, but they said that it wouldn't happen.

I miss the FM radio of my old 8310...

The menu structure is a bit frustrating sometimes. You can get yourself into a menu, but there is no way back out of unless you press the end call key and go back to the wallpaper!

Accidentally press the end call key while writing an SMS, and it's gone. That's quite rubbish really...

The phone is full of good ideas, but they haven't all been thought through - I'm hoping that a firmware release will improve things for this phone.

Only had the phone for about a week so still finding stuff out!

I got it for free on T-mobile for £13.99 a month which can't be bad!

I would recommend the phone, but not to ppl who text all the time (i do unfortunately), or someone looking for a massive feature list.

Cheers
