Good Points

Exceptional quality of LCD, attractive design, easy menu, fine battery.


Bad Points

Ringtones not loud enough to be heard in crowd or ouside in the street. Vibrating alert not in full optional control, battery time not enough. Inappropriate location of the speaker. Reception not good enough.


General Comments

I am quite happy to use the Samsung X100, the mobile phones LCD is quite attractive and the device overall is modern in look and functions. But if you prefer loud ringtones and easy SMS message options, perhaps this set won't satisfy you like its other competitors. The bad thing about it is the location of the speaker; it is on the back of the handset and the sound is obstructed while in hand and if kept flat on bed. Anyway, on this budget, the phone is not bad.
