Good Points

I was able to drop 52 pounds in 60 days. It must be noted that I also added weightlifting 2 hours per day, 6 days per week to this diet.

I would drink their product for my breakfast, and lunch. With the lunch I had a piece of fruit to help fill me up. For dinner I ate until full, but ate zero-to-low-fat foods only as there are 9 calories per gram verses 4 calories for carbs and protein.


Bad Points

The issue of protein was not addressed enough in this diet.


General Comments

When dieting, we need plenty of protein. Slimfast only provided 10 grams per serving. That is way too low. Muscle will be lost that way along with equal amounts of fat. You should only drop 2 pounds per week for best results, but there are ways to maintain most of your muscle when crash dieting. You MUST take additional protein into your diet with Power Whey Protein. Follow the instructions. Also L-Glutamine is needed to prevent your muscle from being lost.

I kept my muscle because I took soy protein after each workout with a glass of orange juice, but have since learned that WHEY PROTEIN is best.

That was almost 3 years ago. My weight has stayed the same, but I have gained about 35 pounds of muscle. That would mean that I lost an additional 35 pounds of fat in place of my muscle gain.

You can do it too, but it takes hard work and commitment!
