Good Points

A professional looking website, but hey, anyone can do one of those!


Bad Points

Everything!! They don't give you what you want, you spend hours in a call-waiting system listening to some bloke tell you how important your call is, however, it is never answered, they e-mail you endlessly telling you they are dealing with your case as a matter of urgency and will get back to you within 24hrs (which they don't) the list could go on and on


General Comments

DO NOT USE The Mobile Republic!
I first ordered a Motorola V600 about a month ago. Within a week or 2 my phone arrived. It was the wrong one. The letter said that because of stock delays they have sent a different phone and if I didn't want to keep it to send it back and they would send me the one I wanted. I sent the phone back and waited....
I then found this site and started to worry. So I phoned them and got the man telling me how important I am to them. 30 to 40 phone calls and never spoke to anyone. I am still waiting for the phone. I emailed them and threatened them with Trading Standards as I work for them and they told me my phone was being sent on the 21st April. Still nothing. I have now sent a complaint to Trading Standards and they are dealing with it. I have refered them to this site and advise you all to do the same. It's dead easy just use the following link

    This is my second review of The Mobile Republic because things have just gone completly crazy and very expensive for myself. They have managed to set me up 2 contracts. Both of which I have tried to cancel. They have not responded to my requests, closed my online tickets, not replied letters and not answered the phone. I am now receiving bills of £75 from T-Mobile as a result. I have reported them to Trading Standards and they are advising me. The next step is OFCOM who are the government body for telecoms. I beg anyone who reads this do not use this company.
