General Comments
These Sony RF815r wireless headphones were bought for me as a birthday present and I have been nothing but pleased with them. From listening to some internet radio at night, to relaxing to my favorite cd outside in the sun, they perform well.
Setup is very much 'plug in and you are going', and comes with a flex which has phono jacks on one end and a 3.5mm jack on the other - it can be used either way round which is a great bonus.
They do become uncomfortable after prolonged usage. This is where a stand alone reciever would come in handy, but this could probably be resolved by buying some separate ear pads.
Charging time is not noticed (though is only a 1:1 ratio apparently) because you can leave them on the base while not in use.
I have not tried any other wireless headphones, but I recommend these

OK, so you don't know anything about headphones, but you know what you like?
Personally, having ripped the flimsy ear pads on mine, and found it impossible to buy spares, I wouldn't buy from Sony again.
