Good Points

Looks phat and sounds nice!


Bad Points

BAD TRANSMISSION!!! Had to get a new clutch for my car and i had to pay for it because they don't pay for that! They said i messed it up but my car was working fine 'til that day! The car jerks very hard between shifts, especially through 2nd! There is somthing not right with the tranmission in that car, it was made very poorly i think!


General Comments

The Mazda Protege MP3 is cool and looks nice but the engine is made poorly, very poorly and the mazda people are garbage!

    I'VE GOT A PROTEGE 5, IT SHIFTS LIKE A DREAM. EITHER YOU GOT A BAD ONE OR YOU NEED SOME SHIFT LESSONS. THE MOTOR IS SMOOTH BUT NEEDS SOME INTAKE AND EXHAUST HELP AND IT WILL OPEN WAY UP.

    hey, try shifting between 2.5k and 3k. and dont release the clutch. you gotta slide it. all sticks are like women, gotta be gentle.
