Good Points

sexy looks, very small size , great battery endurance, speaker phone, loud ringtones, affordable price


Bad Points

no redial option, no short key to profiles


General Comments

I was impressed by the size and the looks of the Panasonic GD55. The mobile phone has a number of feature you hardly expect in a phone this small (like the speaker phone) and the battery power is truely exceptional. However after a while u will find out that if the party ur calling is engaged, the phone doesnt redial or even ask if you want to redial. I couldnt believe panasonic would have overlooked this option. And what is the use of profiles if u have to use 10 key presses to reach it?

    i take back my word. by long pressing the yes key u reach profile mode in just one key stroke.
    still no re-dial though

    but u can redial! i have GD55 as well. you just press the green key (the one with the phone on it) and it will give u a list of numbers that u have previously dialed. i think this phone is perfect! and thanks for telling me about speaker phone, i didn't know that.

    what i meant with re-dialing is the option provided on all phones, that is the automated ability to dial an engaged number. i have a SE P800 now and incase the party i am calling is talking with somebody else, the device asks me if it should redial.if i answer yes, the phones dials the number 10 times automatically.
