Beware- will sell defective merchandise without allowing for return.
I bought a pair of shoes from the Loehmann's San Francisco Store. Within a day of wearing them, the binding on one shoe unravelled. When I attempted to exchange it, the associate manager pointed me to a sign indicating they do not accept return of worn shoes. I explained that this was a defective shoe. He then said there was nothing he could do and that I should contact the regional manager. I called this regional manager several times, and she never bothered to return any of my calls. I would expect this type of service from a sales person perhaps, but from a higher-up manager? This store may offer a discount on merchandise, but it comes at a price. If you must buy from this establishment, inspect your goods carefully before purchase. As for me, I'd rather spend money in a store that places stronger value in customer service.
