Cut scenes. WOW
Hacking mode
Bullet Time (slowing time down ) is fun and gives you new moves
Good music
Two characters to choose from each with their own skills and objectives
Everything else
Playin' this game is like watching a movie. There's over an hour of exclusive footage with actors from the Matrix films. One thing to note is that the game follows a different band of rebels, namely Captain Niobe's crew, and you get the choice of playin' as her of her first mate, Ghost who briefly appears in the film. So there's no Neo, Morpheus or Trinity, but their voices are included nontheless.
There's no doubt the quality of this game is top-notch, but the gameplay leaves something to be desired. First of the all, the camera angles. Now just what the hell is up with that!? Secondly, fighting, although at times enjoyable, are seriously lacking when you have a large arsenal. Thirdly, the car chases are ugly and boring and finally, the graphics are dull and bland.
The upside, is the hacking mode. There you can unlock movies, profiles, cheats as well as communicate shortly with Neo, Morpheus and Trinity through a computer screen. Very cool and high tech stuff.
In conclusion, as much as I love the Matrix, I have to say that this game did not live up to its hype.
