Good Points

Good Display, aesthetically pleasing and unit illumination in low-light conditions


Bad Points

1) Flawed alarm and calendar functionality
2) Memory warnings after approx 10 text messages
3) Poor Games


General Comments

I purchased the Motorola T720 mobile phone approximately 10 months ago, and have the following observations:-

PROS
----

The handset is aesthetically very pleasing, although fragile looking.

The display is good, and the menus easy to navigate, although a little sluggish to respond at times. The unit illuminated superbly in low-light conditions.

The predictive text facility was a joy to use, and I found the quick notes facility very useful.


CONS

The diary was Easy to navigate, but was forced to cease using it as the reminders triggered at apparently random times.

The alarm clock only activates if the Phone is switched on, and was not 100% reliable even then.

I only needed to receive about 10 text messages before memory was full, and a cleanup operation needed to be performed. I also could not obtain receipts to inform me that a text had been read.

Cannot have vibrate & ringer active at the same time, and it never seems to have the signal strength of my old Nokia 3310.

The installed games were poor and only demonstration versions. You can download more apparently, but I never bothered.


Overall

This phone has too many flaws for me to recommend, and I am currently in the process of looking for a replacement.
