Seeing David in less than stellar form is better than seeing most in top form.
Bad Points
Well the dvd is a rip in a way. at least the copy of it in Canada. it has only 5 of the 11 songs and finds DB in low energy. I was wondering if he had the flu or something. Also the sound is only straigh 2 channel. The songs are done very much by the numbers. David forgets words a couple of times and has to resort to his music sheet. his voices cracks as well. He looks tired like he just woke up. skip buying this and hope for a dvd of the live concerts. This was a small studio audience...and had none of the energy displayed at his concert.
General Comments
David Bowie, Reality Review: The acoustic version of Days is very nice and seems to suit the low energy mood. The set is more like a Jazz set. Disco King also is wonderfully sublime and probably the best cut of the 5. Reality is the only cut where we get to see Earl Slick let go a bit on guitar. Never grow old is passable.
