Bad Points
Extremely unreliable.
General Comments
I have constant problems with the Blackberry 7230 when using desktop re-director. Cannot pick up emails half the time, and there is no chance of you picking up emails when abroad - it just seems to lose connection. Absolutely nothing to do with tariffs or reception.

If you are using desktop redirector and your PC is switched off it will not forward your email, your PC in this implementation is your email server, hence it is better to use either a corporate version of the BlackBerry Exchange Server or the BlackBerry Web client version which will redirect your ISP based email to your BlackBerry 24/7.

<br>Plus when you are abroad you need to select that you are recieving messages as GPRS network charges vary widely and this can be default option to save you running up huge bills.

Really surprised to read this users problems. I was surprised when I first took my blackberry abroad at how easy it was to use. As soon as I stepped of the plane in Bangkok it was chirping away as new e mails were downloaded. It was great to be able to sit by the pool whilst reading e mails and answering them instantly. My wife hated it, however!
