Good Points

The Dunk Pro SB's are awesome because they give you one of the best board-feels in a skate shoe and are very comfortable to skate in with the Zoom Air design. They also come in many colors to match with all your outfits for all you sneakerheads out there!

Bad Points

The only bad thing about the Dunk Pro SB's are that they tear kind of easily compared to other skate shoes, but this is in exchange for the awesome board feel and comfortability while you destroy them. Most Dunks tend to be pretty expensive also, which makes it a shoe for just wearing around sometimes.

General Comments

The Nike Dunk was originally a basketball shoe that started in the late 80's. As time went on, the dunk was revamped and the skateboard team of Nike chose to adopt the Dunk as a skate shoe. In this process, Nike added the Zoom Air insole to the shoe, extra padding around the heel, and a fat tong for even more padding. Then they added "Pro SB" to label it for skateboarding. SB stands for SkateBoard. Due to the modification of this basketball shoe into skateboarding shoes, the Nike Dunk Pro SB's are one of the most comfortable shoes out there. They are very comfortable for skating, and now even more comfortable for basketball than the original Dunks ever were. Make sure you get the Fat tong Pro SB's next time, not the thin tong regular ones!

The only bad thing about these shoes, in terms of skateboarding, is that they still tear easy like the original Dunks by the sand paper grip tape on the skateboard. Nike made the shoe comfortably skateable, but did not add any tear prtection, yet they are still high cost shoes. In terms of durability, other shoes will last longer, but will never feel as comfortable as the dunks. Another negative aspect is that Skateboarders question Nike's right to get involved with skateboarding; they feel it is a corpration just trying to overpower all the skate shoe companies that already exist. Also, before any skateboarding shoes were made from Nike, nike already had the reputation of [expletive] shoes with regards to skateboarding needs.

The negative aspects of this shoe, however, dont compare to the positive ones. The comfortability and style is way cool. You wont be wearing the same ol' plain colored skateshoes due to the color variation. Only thing is you need money to ride in these. :-( The Nike Skateboarding Team also rocks with Reese Forbes, Gino Ianucci, Danny Supa, Paul Rodriguez, and others who tear it up in skateboarding! Ride with style!

The Nike Dunks are probably most skateboarder’s number one choice of skate shoe right now. Most skateboarders will argue that you’re bad points are wrong for the following reasons
    1) They aren’t that expensive, £50 is cheaper than most skate shoes
    2) They are just as strong as the most popular shoes from big skate companies like es, lakai and circa.
    3) skateboarders don’t mind wearing Nike

Hmm, Interesting, must be because you're in Europe? Where I live (Sacramento, California) skate shoes go for about $70 where as Nike dunks go for $100-$120.

nike sb are skateable. nike dunks, now thats another story. dunks such as the cali's or oompa's or zambas are quite expensive ranginf from $150+. i am a sb/dunks collector and i personally would not skate in $150+ shoes. the nike tiffany's, aka. diamonds are sb's yet they are rare and hard to find, so dont skate in those! lol
