Excellent in the snow due to 4 wheel drive. Handling and ride very good, nice manual gearchange. Good looking car.
Only 20 mpg around town.
I have just changed my Jaguar X Type 2.5 V6 SE manual for a 3.0 se auto. The 2.5 was a lovely car to drive and own. At about 15,000 miles it needed a new steering rack and new shock absorbers but these were replaced under warranty. The main dealer service has been first rate. The SE spec. with leather interior and cruise control as standard is the best to have for enjoyment and resale. The trade value has been badly affected by the 2.0l cars.
