The phone is very durable. It doesn't flip out so it's really hard to break it. I dropped it a few times and nothing happened to it. It works fine and the keypads still look brand new after using it for 9 months.
Bad Points
It does not support ringtones. I tried searching all over the internet for ringtones for the S40 and the best I could get was a rington converter (which you have to pay for) that converts songs no one listens to into a ringtone.
General Comments
The Siemens s40 mobile phone is great. Tri-Band, nothing special if you're not a business man. I've never had to call outside the country. I'm guessing the high price I paid for the phone was because it was Tri-Band and I didn't even need it. If you're not going to travel often, get a different phone. The battery life isn't long either. You have to turn the blue backlighting off so the phone can last 2 days. With the blue back light on the phone will last about a day and that's if you don't call anyone. Siemens as a cell phone name? Everyone's always had a joke whenever I held a Siemens to my ear.
