*Too cool
*Extreamly accurate (if u adjust it correctly)
*Super powerful (430fps)
*Feels EXACTLY like a read gun.
*Heavy because made of mostly zinc alloy
*Looks very read because of the polished finish
*"Supped up" version of the 1008b
Loose grip, I say loose but I dont mean like falling off, just a little wiggely if there is NO CO2 POWERLET IN THERE. If you put a co2 powerlet in there, the problem is solved!. You dont have to screw in the powerlet, just leave in w/o screwing it in.

***GENERAL:
oh... where to start... this is probably the BEST gun when it comes to performance, accuracey, power, and feel. It is simular construction to the Crosman 1008B. The C40 supports single and double action. It blasts out a pellet at 430 fps(feet per second). It is about 2.5 pounds, so it will feel like an actual pistol - plus its made out of pure ZINC ALLOY, not plastic. Its going to feel like a real pistol! This gun fires 8 pellets throught its 4.25 inch steal rifled barrel. It will probably cost you around $114 for the gun with FULL KIT or about $95 without kit (at www.pyramydair.com) this is probably the best gun that I have, compared to other guns that I own or play with. (My favorite is between this and the PT80). One more thing, if your hesitant to get this gun because of the price, then just get the Crosman 1008b. They are almost the same. I said ALMOST.
I would give this gun a 10 but nothing in this world is perfect... so thats why im giving it a 9. (I wish there was a 9.9 or something!)
GETTING JAMMED:
people say some guns like this gets jammed sometimes. Well, that is because they are using POOR quality pellets or pellets are are not brand CROSMAN. If you use any other type of pellet, then it might get jammed, especially if you use RIFEL pellets. Yes they are simlar in shape and size, but the crosman is made for REVOLVER type guns such as this one (guns that use a revolving clip for a magazine). If you have any type of revolving magazine, then I suggest you get the crossman pellets, no matter what brand your gun is. I only got JAMMED once for useing the wrong type of pellet. ever since, I used crossman pellets, it NEVER got jammed again. =] this goes for all guns. If you are using Crosman pellets but your still getting jammed (which I doubt) then try loading the pellets MORE CAREFULLY. Make sure the ends of the pellets arent sticking out! :)
Now this gun is very good on CO2 for a 430 FPS. If you get a genuine 12 gram CO2 tank, then you will get AT LEAST 50 rounds out of your tank. I usually get 70 + - rounds on a tank.
REASON FOR GETTING LOW ROUNDS ON A CO2 tank:
The reason is simple. Co2 is a gas. It is compressed into a powerlet (co2 tank) when it is in the powerlet it is a liquid (because when co2 is highly compressed, it is a liquid, so basically the whole tank is filled with co2 liquid). You get low rounds on any co2 powered gun because you rapid fire (shoot fast). When you rapid fire, the powerlet ejects co2 out everytime you pull the trigger. when a lot of co2 is ejected, the tank gets extreamly cold. When the tank gets extreamly cold, the PRESSURE of the powerlet goes down, which means lower vilolcity (fps) which mean lower accuracy. My suggestion is that you give and co2 power fire arms a resting period of 15 seconds in between shots so that the powerlet warms it self back so you can shoot with max FPS that ur gun can handel.
DOUBLE/SINGLE ACTION:
Double action is when you pull the trigger and your gun fires. It is hard. The reason it is named "double" because the hammer goes 2 motions. It goes BACK -> then it goes forward <- in order to shoot an object.
Single action is when you "cock" the trigger back yourself and then pull the trigger. When you pull the trigger, the hammer only goes a forward motion. Thats why its called single action. Single action is easier to pull, which means your hand will be more steady. Therefore your accuracey will increase. I strongly suggest anyone wanting to get a gun, get a double and single action gun.
