Good Points

Good when a claim arises

General Comments

I used to have two cars insured by CIS as well as my buildings and contents insurance.

Now all three are done by Tesco.

CIS were great with my claim but their agent is hopeless (in my area). Never phones, never turns up on time.

The office is not much better - when I rang them to say I had a cheaper quote instead of asking if any circumstances had changed to keep my business (worth about £1500 pa) their attitude was "bye".

They sent me a renewal notice THREE weeks after it had expired!

And to top it all I have receive a BILL one month after my house insurance expired for an extra months cover they have kept open for me without my requesting that they do so.

Needless to say they won't get paid and I shan't be taking my insurances back to them.

    Cooperative Insurance Society has been undergoing a great deal of modernisation recently. I am sure they will improve.
