Good Points

Reasonably priced. Compact for rear projection.
Brilliant for DVD's


Bad Points

Picture is poor for TV transmission broad casting.


General Comments

There is a problem with the picture on the LG RE44SZ20RD Rear Projection Television. We watch through NTL (It is the same for Sky)and they transmit at 50Hz. This TV is 100Hz. This scans at twice the rate and fills in the picture by prediction. The digital set top box already predicts this and causes a ghosting effect. We also notice pixelisation in certain circumstances. Watching TV is unpleasant with a vibrating background and for some people it hurts their eyes.

    I suggest you have your TV checked.
    I've got NTL and I tell you my jaw is still on the floor, the TV is absolute amazing, by far the best rear projection on the market, on picture quality only pixel plus lcd (Philips) its better.
    The LG DLP its absolute excellent.
    10 out of 10.
