General Comments
This Olympus C-150 is a perfect intro to digital photography. The camera is a *really* nice compact design, it's pretty simple to operate, and generally the quality of the images are very good.
You get the best results out of it when you override some of it's own settings and compensate exposures etc.
It only has a digital zoom and if I was starting again I'd go for one that had an optical zoom.
The manual is short (a bit too short?) but adequate and it comes with a foldy out start here quick start guide which is good for us impatient souls.
I'd agree it does eat batteries - don't they all? - but rechargeables sort that out quickly enough.
It's almost a third cheaper now that when I bought mine and at that price it's a definite bargain. Also consider the Canon A60 off Amazon though if you want an optical zoom and a full manual mode.
But if you read the manual and practice a little you won't be disappointed.
