rugged, lovely and smooth to operate, really steady and really quiet shutter operation, great picture quality with nikon lenses, accepts a huge range of f mount lenses, really nice design.
slow flash sync, expensive and specific accessories.
This Nikon F3 is the only 35mm slr camera that I know to have such a lovely winding mechanism, FE has a smooth mechanism too, but F3 feels awesome, just a swing. Because of it's weight and horizontal travel shutter, you won't feel nearly nothing when you take a photo, that's why photos are really sharp, not to mention the conditions at which this camera is capable of working. This is the camera that made me love Nikon.
