Good Points
Totally noiseless! Fast, A3 capacity, stylish & robust case, usb
Bad Points
As ever with Hewlett printers the rear feed is temperamental, out of warranty support is expensive and Hewlett being Hewlett later spec PC's may not be compatable with their drivers so chuck the printer. No edge to edge printing like Epson
General Comments
Due to upgrade paths, & hardware/software compatability issues with my previous 1100C and support wanting £20 just to talk to me about availability of drivers (not on their web-site) I was set on an Epson this time round and the reviews were good. Admittedly the Epson chassis is a bit tinny but I couldn't get hold of one anyhow so I gave in and got the 1220C. The 1100C was quiet but the 1220C has that beat hands down, you have to look at the printer to see if it's working as you can't hear a thing! Plain paper is no more than average quality but on even cheap epson thin photo paper the results are stunning & letter heads are no different to professional printed quality. On true glossy Photo Card the results are stunning and no noticeable banding or dots.

I'd like to know a little more about it - for instance the duplex system...
