Good Points

Excellent acceleration, corners nice, looks stunning, nice interior.

Bad Points

Engine knocking sometimes when getting going or downshifting from 4th, eats up rear tires. Would be nice if it was 6 speed.

General Comments

I have a red 1992 toyota mr2 turbo. I've never been in a faster car (acceleration) than my mr2 with boost levels of 21 psi, but i set it at 15 psi which is still nothing to frown about. Put down the pedal and get mashed to the seat and it doesn't let go. I bought my car with only 64,000 miles with a HKS vein pressure converter, HKS electronic valve controller, HKS turbo timer, air/fuel mixture gauge and turbo boost gauge, custom exhaust and powerflow intake. If you can find a good deal, i suggest you buy a mr2 turbo.

I have been considering a beat mr2 turbo for cheap and fixing it up but somtimes I think I would be better off waiting to get a nice 300zx. What do you think has a better 0-60, 1/4 mile. take into account that that the mr2 I'm looking at would get a fresh greddy turbo kit and all that goes along with it.
