Good Points

Good materials (except trigger). Good wood, excellent power. When you have one in your hands, you get immediately loved for the gun, it's a very beautiful piece.

Bad Points

A little heavy (but i like it), the plastic trigger (why plastic for this price !!??)

General Comments

I have had my .177 caliber RWS model 54 air rifle for one year already. The rifle is very accurate, but don't think that because of its recoilless system that you'll get the best shooter around... The first shoots that I made with the rifle were very disappointing for me...I thought that the rifle wasn't accurate for the price that it cost me. But with time, and after a lot of shots I can tell you that it is one of the most accurate guns that I've had (I have an Beemean Kodiak and a Gamo 890S). Like I said, you must spend a lot off time to get tuned with the gun. One thing I can sure you...I know that there are in the market best air rifles....but you will never regret the money you spent on this one !! Sorry my bad English...but I learn it mostly from TV..

I don't know why so many people complain about these RWS rifles have polymer plastic triggers? Look at the high tech rifles and pistols on the market. Take Glock for instance. Polymer is not a bad thing. It is the future. No rusting, longer wear.
