Kiana's Review of Lancome Color ID Self-Adjusting Color Weightless Makeup
23rd Mar 2004
Overall Rating
- Value for money

Smooth, silky, blends very well with the skin, has an SPF 8. Gives natural colour & evens out skin tone without heaviness. Colour adjusts to your skin colour.
Bad Points
You would need a concealer if you have very problematic skin. (e.g. If you have very dark circles under your eyes).
General Comments
I've tried lots of foundations & Lancome COLOUR ID is one the best ones so far.I found other foundations don't 'melt' with your skin but rather sit on top of the skin. Supple, ultra-fine and smooth, yet offering perfect coverage, it blends naturally into the skin.
I'm in my early 30's, my skin is normal, with slightly
uneven colour (I have some redness around the nose area & slight dark
circles under eyes). So this evened out my skin without heaviness & gave a very natural colour (it's meant to have pigments that adapt to your complexion to give a unique colour to your skin tone, hence the term COLOUR ID!)
Although I like to use an under-eye light-reflecting concealer for
my dark circles. It also has an SPF 8 which is good for protecting the
skin.
Lancome has created this one using Color Scan(TM), which has
produced a range of 20 universal colours for all women: Caucasian, Asian, Spanish, Mixed Race, African.
