Looks very Nice in my front room.
Bad Points
Remote has always been dodgy as hell. Freezing due to cheap laser. Bass issues. Long term unreliability.
General Comments
With something that looks this good, It's a real shame that this system does not come through on long term reliability. As far as the JVC-THA5R DVD Player is concerned, don't believe the hype! Any review mag will tell you it's a stunner with pretty good performance for the money. However these magazine/product relationships are short enough for the system to make an impression and flee before anybody notices the long term faults. 18 months later Freezing, Humming arghhh!

The box in question is the one the system is packed in; inside there are usually several smaller boxes, 7 of them in the case of the JVC TH-AR5 (8 if you count the remote?).

Had problems after 15 months of limited use. Freezing, jumping, and is selective on which dvd it will play.
