very powerfull ( 290 m/s in .177 cal. ), scope stop included, nice finish, handling,
fixed barrel, easy to cock due to underlever, value for money, fiber optics, handy plastic loading port.
trigger, cheap looking prone plastic front sight, loosening screws.
The El Gamo CF-30 is an excellent gun for its money.
Strange, creepy second stage trigger. Often contributes in poor accuracy. Gun tends to move when the triger is pulled through the second stage. At larger distances this could be problematic.
Although groups averaging 0.20 " at 12 yards with Gamo Pro Magnum pellets are possible but demands utmost concentration.
Front sight wrongly mounted at factory and very prone when used in the field. Regularly inspection of the screws is recommended. Even blue LocTite didn't help. (I didn't degrease the screws though) Lot of spring twang.
The plastic loading port prevents long scopes so be aware when buying one.
Low cost, value for money airrifle suited for plinking and entry level field target.
