General Comments

After seeing the Norinco/SMK Kl-3b rifle on southsummit.com for 25$ I thought it was a good deal, so I looked around the internet to find some information on it. I found that many models had a barrel drop on them causing the gun to shoot low, this is correctable though with a hammer and a 2x4. So I decided to order one anyway
First off dont ever belive these advertised specs. the gun shoots way below 850 FPS most shoot from the 500's to low 700's. The gun has enough power to kill sparrows, and starlings at ranges no futher than 10 yards/33 feet. It can drop a squirrel at about 15 feet. My main point its not adequet for hunting.
After taking my rifle out of the box it dieseld and still is after approximately 750 pellets. Even after fixing the barrel, the gun has poor accuracy .It shoots about 2 inch groups with oopen sights c.t.c. using a rifle rest at 10 yards . What can you expect for 25$.
The rifle's stock was nice with few imperfections. I found it really easy to hold. The trigger though, once you pull it throws your shot of. The trigger will get smother after about 500 shots.
The anti-bear trap has been know to fail. So make sure you hold the cocking lever at all times (So you dont loose a finger).
Really I myself would not recommend this rifle to a begginer or a pro. It is really poor quality. Unless your into shooting cans. Do yourself a favor I suggest you save up for a real airgun, just skip past these cheap chinese imitations. I recommend the Gamo Shadow 1000 for 129$ I have on and I love it.

i am sorry, maybe manufacture tollerences or something but mine (out of the box, no mods) will win me the money in the hat unless someone else has some olympic sighted $400 gun and i think i paid $25
