General Comments

I bought a battery for my phone specified by The Mobile Republic which wasn't suited to the phone. I returned it to them within 3 days following thier returns instructions and sent it via Royal Mail Special Delivery (recorded post) as an extra. I have sent 7 e-mails today and been give 3 dates when I will get my refund. It is now 50 days since they recieved the product back but I do not have my money.

There seems to be a number of address for this company. It is impossible to actually speak to anyone and so all contact is via a 'Ticket' system (e-mail) which means that I can take days for a reply.


I have contacted the Trading Standards via thier website (http://www.consumercomplaints.org.uk/), along with Croydon Council, shopsafe.co.uk, as they are adversing the fact that The Mobile Republic are listed as a 'safe' company to deal with but are not listed on Shopsafe's own website. I sent a letter to Watchdog (see the BBC website,)and have threatened to take them to the County court. None of this is getting me anywhere so far.

If you have had a problem with this company don't ignore it. Send a letter to all of the above so that others don't have the same problems.
