Everything a phone that looks good and crashes/locks up once a day is not much good!
General Comments
I have spent a fortune on repairs trying to get my Siemens SL55 mobile phone to work correctly on the 02 network! The phone has been flashed had new software installed but still crashes on a daily basis! I have owned many mobiles over the years and this does not even come close to any! Ok if you want to play a game its ok, making calls and SMS is a different kettle of fish, I get locked off my network! the only way to resolve this while on the road is to remove the battery and power up! Keep your Money in Your Pocket I'm sure you'll be more 'inspired'.

I sympathise with you if your having major problems with the SL55. However, I have had the SL55 on the O2 network since October 2003 with no problems to report to date. You must have a duff handset.
