Good Points

Lightweight, great fun and with an induction kit heat shielded and a cool air scoop the induction noise is good by italian standards. chicks dig it.economy power fold down seat space its got it all.

Bad Points

Understeer. hard to mod as its tuned sky high as standard. Leaky, stealable, zero torque under low revs, feels like its got turbo lag.

General Comments

i miss my Honda CRX SiR as do my mates. It never cost anything in parts for my 92 model. Love the revs but needs tints and torque. fun toy that reacts well to breathing aids. beats fat bouncy gas guzzlers that americans throw out in a bid to poison earth. smooth power comes and then at revs becomes a fast fun drivers delight. Brakes are very impressive.

im looking for a CRX for my next car... i want one so badly. ive read nothing but good things about it. I have a few questions if anyone out there could answer them, wasnt able to find a solid answer using google:

what year did honda stop making that model?

any dissadvantage to buying a '90 or '91 crx NOW in 2003, providing that the car was taken care of well and all...

any advice, rants, help, anything would be great, thanks!

    Hey everyone!
Anyone who has questions about the 1990 or 1991 Honda CRX, base model and Si model, automatic and five speed can ask me. I have owned the 1991 honda crx since 2000.
    I have these two cars:
1991 Honda Crx, 1.5litre Base model, Automatic
1990 Honda Crx, 1.6litre Si model, 5 Speed
I am one of the biggest fans of the crx in the Columbus Ohio area.
I enjoyed this review, and I agree with most of the comments made about the CRX si. I have never driven a "v-tech" model however.
