General Comments

After owning this Grundig GDT1500 set top box for over a year I can definitely say that it's been well worth the money. It's a stable, well-built piece of equipment that I can't destroy (believe me, I've tried). It even survived 5 months of 10-hour-a-day usage in a steamy, condensating kitchen.

I have it connected to a 28" Grundig television which it matches perfectly. The box itself has RGB out capabilities which really aid the image quality. It also has a seperate SCART connector for your VCR (the SCART connector only outputs composite, but since about 99% of VCRs support only that, it's not a problem).

All in all this was a solid purchase and I would not hesitate to purchase another product from Grundig.
