Stunning 65K colour screen
Swivel Camera
Rotating Screen (killer design!)
40bit Polyphonics
Bad Points
hardly any!, memory for photos is a bit low, 50 in 640x480 mode, but a whopping 100 with 352x288, you can always upload em to your pc and take more!
General Comments
First of all I had the Nokia 7210 mobile phone, I sold it as it had no camera, then the T720i (looked good) but again no built in camera, then the Sony Ericsson T300 (Again no built in camera), then the Motorola E365 (wahay finally a built in camera phone) (but I got bored of it and sold that as well), then the Nokia 3650 (too big!) and finally THIS BEAUTY!!!!!!
What can I say, as soon as I opened the Samsung P400 box I was like "whoa!", the design is so slick and holding the phone is amazing, its a stunning design. I had the choice of this, the 7250i, the E700 or the SL55. But i went for this, and i'm glad I did.
The 65K is so impressive. When i'm walking around, peoples heads turn my way, and i'm not joking! it's very attractive, and the rotating screen is an amazing feature from the boys at Samsung!
The images taken are absolutely superb. They compare of quality with the high spec Digi Cameras. The only downside is the Memory of the phone, It has hardly 1mb for photos, which is awful! but you can add them to your pc, delete from the phone and take more (datacables can be bought off eBay! for a fiver)
I can't fault the phone in anyway. It has all the regular features you would expect, GPRS etc.
For all the people who are 50/50 on buying the phone because of the 'dodgy' screen, I don't know where you got them idea's from. The screen is perfect UNLESS u purposely fidget with it trying to fault it. It's a top phone.
I'd say the best camera phone after the GX20 (ugly design!) If your rich! lol, and want a phone solely on looks, I recommend this or the SL55, or even if you want it for a top quality camera, get this..or even if you want to be the odd one out, get this cuz hardly anyones got it (mainly because of the price). They go on eBay! for about 180-190, and £230 Buy it now.
All in all, a stunner from Samsung, and I can't speak highly enough of it!!!

i have a samsung p400, and i am totally dissatisfied. firsty, i like mobile phones to save the messages that i have sent to my outbox, just so i know what i have sent people. this phone does not have this option, even though its memory is big enough to hold over 300 messages.
secondly, sending the same message to many people is an absolute mission! you have to save it, open it, choose who you want to send it to, etc, over and over again until everyone you want to send it to has had it sent to them. why can\'t it have a \'send to many\' option like even the most basic nokias?
when someone sends you a link to a wap website by txt, it will only allow you to save it as the first link in your favourites (so if you recieve another cool website, you have to write it down then save it).
really, it is not a well thought out idea from samsung. hopefully the e710 is better.
