“Now I know why the Sony Ericsson T610 mobile phone was...”

★★☆☆☆

Good Points
Is nice for gadget-lovers and game-players. Looks very stylish and 'expensive'.

Bad Points
Can't be heard. Screen too dim on standby. Menu is easy to navigate, but very fiddly if you're out and about being 'mobile' - misses the point of being a mobile phone really! Lack of memory space.

General Comments
Now I know why the Sony Ericsson T610 mobile phone was a 'free' upgrade. Receiving the handset about 6 months ago was very exciting, but after a week of usage, I found myself taking the sim out and using my old Nokia again. Reasons: the keyboard is really difficult to use, perhaps the buttons are too small and positioned wrong - who knows. The screen is too dim on standby - I can't tell if a 'silent' text has arrived unless I activate the phone. It saves every text I send taking up stacks of memory I don't need. Photos aren't that good, seen better picture phones. Ringtones! Less than 10 of them - why? Vibrate...mmm, does it? The joystick gets knocked and before you know it, you've dialed someone. Too many menus to get through - a tad unnecessary. And it keeps asking questions which I haven't got time to answer when on the move. Also, in daylight, the screen is completely unreadable. As you might tell by now, I can't really recommend it (sorry Sony), but I'm going back to Nokia
