Beautifully landscaped extensive grounds.
Friendly helpful staff.
Calm relaxed atmosphere.
Showers need careful manipulation.
Confident swimmer to bathe from the jetty.
After being assured we were booked into the Sheraton Sharm Hotel and then receiving a letter seven days before departure saying that we were booked into the Resort(complete tour company cock-up) we approached this holiday with great trepidation. What a beautiful surprise. The resort is laid out on three very spacious levels each with its'own pool and bar and three or four two storey crescents surrounding. We had a ground floor room with Terrace and a small garden. The landscaping of the whole complex is excellent and the walk to the main hotel was most enjoyable (5-7 mins and about the only exercise we took). We had full use of the hotel facilities and it was a nice feeling to 'go home at night'. Most people we spoke to staying in the Hotel had not ventured out into the extensive grounds and had certainly missed out on some beautiful scenery. The only down side I can think of was the showers which either ran hot or cold and needed careful adjustment.(for anyone holidaying here turn the cold on first and bring the hot on very slowly),and of course the power cuts, but having lived in Asia for many years, such is life. We are planning our return.
