General Comments

Right, if you're looking for a simple Nokia 7250i review, go somewhere else, I'm going to use alot of detail.

-FIRST THOUGHTS-
I opened the box and the look of the phone is amazing, I've had so many phones now I've lost count but this is by far the best looking one! The Purpley Blue case is by far the best!

-HMMM HOW DO I TURN IT ON?-
Yes that was what I said! As you can guess I'm not one for Instruction Manuals! I finally found the on button tucked away on the top, to keep the style of course. I was quite impressed by the Welcome Screen, with the trademark Nokia Handshake logo.

--SKIP TO A FEW WEEKS LATER--

-MESSAGING-
Nokia are known to be extremely easy to use, and the messaging system is no exception with the (as expected) T9 Predictive texting. You can literally keep hundreds of messages stored in your phone using its 4Mb Shared Memory, this basically means there isn't memory assigned for different functions so you can have 4Mb of Pictures or 4Mb of text messages!
The multimedia messaging is extremely simple to set up aswell, but I do tend to have sending problems, with a good recpetion the problems ceases.
The chat mode is basically your text messages logged on one screen, like a chat room, hence the name 'chat' (amazingly)! Very easy to use messaging system!

-CALL REGISTER-
Nothing interesting here!
I don't think any network in the UK (not on PAYG anyway) works with the Call Costs function.

-CONTACTS-
I've had Motorolas, Nokias, Sony Ericssons, Ericssons even Sagems and the contacts is always the easiest fuction with Nokias. You can change the view of the number as a list, name and number, number, large name etc. etc.
Finally Nokia have a My Number fuction like the Sony Ericssons so finding your number for someone is a lot easier.

-PROFILES-
You can change your profiles and their settings so your phone acts the way you want it to. Quite nice, but nothing interesting

-RADIO-
Great feature which I use very often. I particulally like the auto tune feature. Unfortunately the radio headset (supplied or should be) must be connected as it acts as the antenna. This means if you use the Radio Alarm Clock feature (brilliant!) the headset has to be connected, dont worry though the radio still goes through the external speaker so you dont have to sleep wearing the headphones :-)

-CAMERA-
I must say, I have seen some cameras on 65K Colour Screens on for example the SonyEricsson T610 and the picture is blurry compared to this camera. This camera is very crisp it is just such a pitty that the lack of colours on the screens taints it's brilliance!
In the camera menu there is Standard Photo, Portrait Photo, Night Mode, Self-Timer and of course Settings! The Night Mode is fairly good but remember it's for Low Light, not pitch black! I use this feature under street lights etc at night.

-GALLERY-
The gallery gives you access to all the multimedia on the phone. A nice easy browser

-ORGANSIER-
This menu contains the features Alarm Clock, Calander and the To-Do List, these features are very useful!

-GAMES-
Included should be, Bounce and Triple Pop, more can be downloaded, I advise you check around on WAP as you can download games worth £5 in Phones4U for Free!

-EXTRAS-
Some fairly useful features but not always used.
Syncrhonisation, syncs your contacts etc. with you Network Provider. Calculator, not much else to say really. Countdown timer, hmmm, you could use it to time you egg! Stopwatch, incase your timing yourself running, whilst on the phone??
Wallet, very good feature, a secure area on the phone where you can store personal data, like PIN's etc. these can be accessed whilst browsing WAP so you don't have to keep re-typing your passwords.

-Connectivity-
Infrared, fairly useful with an Infrared Dongle on your PC, but the lack of sending pictures, sound clips etc via Infrared makes this feature a little less useful, good for contact backups.
GPRS, just helps you set up you GPRS WAP settings. I advise you use GPRS WAP instead of Dial Up as it is faster and you can download more, aswell as being cheaper!
It's such a pity that BlueTooth was not enabled on this phone!

-SERVICES-
Basically everything to do with WAP, your settings, bookmarks, browser etc.

-GOTO-
A shortcut folder which you can place you favourite features in to access quickly.

-My Services-
This is Sim Services and network dependant.

-CONCLUSION-
Well I'm not totally bored with it after 7 months, so it's fairly good! Nokia could of given you more for your money i.e. 65K Screen and Bluetooth. If you just want a good looking phone, this is the one!
