Good Points

Looks good and did sound good.

Bad Points

The constant buzzing noise together with the red line across the screen. Both of which seem to get worse over time.

General Comments

We are currently on our 4th Panasonic TX32PD30 in a month!

To cut a very long story short the first two TV's we purchased from a well know large department store both of which were physically damaged when delivered. The store told us we were being picky so what if they were scratched and dented.

Eventually got a refund and purchased the TV via another company.

Initially it was great after about 2 weeks it started buzzing and a red line appeared at the bottom of the picture. Engineer was sent out confirmed the faults and the new one arrived today. Switched it on and there was the buzzing again!!!

This is clearly a Panasonic issue, who by the way I have contacted and confirm there are no known faults with this model and that in fact it is their best one.

Anyone else experiencing this many problems?

Our TV randomly makes a huge pop noise, the volume jumps up to full blast and then goes back to normal.

Makes you jump everytime and very annoying seeing the problem is becoming more and more frequent.

Engineer has said they will take it away for testing, it's only 2 or so months old!!

The time he spent looking at it, it didn't pop!!

I'm about ready to give up with this TV after the problems we have had!!

    Hi chaps,

Not sure if you will get this or someone else, but hey ho all the info helps. Mine did exactly the same, made a pop noise and went into standby with the red led flashing on and off. I simply powered it down and left it off for 2 mins and brought it back on. It has also crashed once with the screen going through about 6 bars of green and blue. Same again reboot fixed. Touch wood it's been fine.

One thing I have noticed is that there is a flicker on copied or foreign DVD's. I've tried to change the refresh, everything, no joy. Only in one part of the screen though. Fine on normal DVD's, brilliant TV.

Anyways, hope you have the TV's fixed, I'm very happy with mine.
